We have position openings in our manufacturing facility. We are looking for CNC operators/programmers on first and second shift. Distilled water is used to minimize corrosion and avoid the build-up of mineral deposits. This beneficial aspect of distilled water does not transfer to its use with zinc coated metals. Tap water, rain water, and even river water form a protective scale on zinc parts which limits the exposure to oxygen. Distilled water does not contain impurities that form scale. Oxygen is more able to reach the zinc coating and corrosion occurs more quickly. "Purer" does not mean less corrosive in this case. Oil-Rite manufactures reservoirs from polypropylene and aluminum parts that can circumvent the corrosion issue with distilled water. There's nothing quite like spray PurgeX. It's an all-in-one unit with output tube and compact nozzle. Air to create the spray is routed through the body - not brought in separately with an additional line and regulator. The tubing can be bent around obstacles and pointed exactly where needed.
