Meet Tim Mangin, Quality Assurance Supervisor at the Cher-Make smokehouse in Manitowoc. Tim grew up on a dairy farm, which sparked his interest in the food industry, and with an Associate Degree in Food Science Technician from Moraine Park Technical College, he found his way to Cher-Make Sausage Co, where he has been making an impact ever since.
Tim’s primary responsibilities include reviewing HACCP and departmental paperwork, leading the Environmental Program, Food Safety Committee, and Sensory Panels, all to ensure every product is safe and high-quality.
What Tim loves most about his job is knowing that the Cher-Make Quality team is dedicated to providing a safe product for customers. He values producing products that people can enjoy and appreciates the great team environment that continually strives for the safest, best products possible.
