Chicken Coop Built! 🐣
Well, the chicks moved up to our house this weekend so we had to get the coop ready for them. It’s not completely finished yet, but it works for now! They outgrew the kennel we had them in and wanted to spread their wings out more.
Still need to build 🔨 🪛 nesting boxes, a run, update our feeder and watering systems, sand and paint. We used mostly items we had laying around. Deck boards for siding, old topper for the roof, used 2x4’s left by the old owner, misc screws, hinges and other items. We even used the baby gate from our house as the bottom door!
The chicks love it. They have been flapping around like crazy in here. Oh yeah, and they love roaming around the yard! 🌳
