The day before this picture was taken smoke blanketed the Teton Range.

We went into the Taggart Lake trail uncertain of what we would find. It was breathtaking. The smoke had almost entirely cleared since the previous night giving us beautiful morning views of Taggart Lake along with a nice long picnic on the rocks. We love the Tetons and this definitely fueled our love for them even more.

The smoke was hiding the Tetons on our first night in the park.

Somewhere on our first morning, the mountains appeared.

What followed was one of the best single days we have ever had anywhere. A legendary pizza spot. Historic cabins. And a picnic at Schwabacher’s Landing with the Teton Range reflected in the river at golden hour.
