This view holds a special place in my heart.

When I think of Minnesota’s North Shore I think of this. Many have seen it through paintings, photographs & more but not as many know its name. It is the Split Rock Lighthouse viewed from Pebble Rock Beach, an ICONIC North Shore Stop. Highly recommend for you next North Shore Trip!

Two years of trying to get here.

A reservation system that almost took it away. A group of friends who had never seen Lake Superior. My mom’s birthday on the final full day.

And on Sunday morning, the best sunrise I have ever seen in my life.

The North Shore delivered everything we hoped for and then some.

Herbert Hoover’s birthplace. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. The best donuts I have ever had. A city that kept surprising me from the first stop to the last morning.
