Right now, Harper is 2 years old and full of personality. She’s always on the move — running, playing, laughing, and keeping all of us on our toes. If you met her, you’d never know everything she goes through behind the scenes.
Every single day includes breathing treatments, medications, and enzymes with every bite she eats. One of our biggest challenges right now is her nutrition — making sure she’s getting enough calories and gaining weight the way she needs to. It’s something we constantly work at, every single day.
But Harper doesn’t let any of that slow her down. She still loves her snacks, her people, and being silly. She’s strong, determined, and tougher than most.
This past year she has started Trikafta, and we are so hopeful for what this means for her future. Medications like this are life-changing for kids like Harper, and they’re only possible because of the research and support behind the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
