Not every load belongs on the same trailer. Choosing the right equipment keeps freight safer, legal, and moving efficiently. đźš›

Here’s a quick shipper-friendly guide:

Dry Van Trailer: Best for boxed, palletized, or packaged freight that does not need temperature control. Common for retail goods, supplies, paper products, and general freight.

Re**er Trailer: Used for freight that needs temperature control, such as frozen goods, produce, seafood, pharmaceuticals, or anything that must stay protected from heat or cold.

Flatbed Trailer: Good for freight that can be loaded from the side, top, or by crane/forklift. Think lumber, pipe, steel, machinery, building materials, or tarped freight.

53’ Step Deck Trailer: Great for taller freight that may be too high for a standard flatbed. Common for machinery, equipment, tractors, and taller industrial loads.

Hotshot: Best for smaller, time-sensitive, partial, or local/regional loads that do not need a full semi. Great for equipment, parts, pallets, and urgent deliveries.

Heavy Haul Trailer: Used for oversized or overweight freight that requires special equipment, permits, and planning. Think large machinery, construction equipment, and industrial freight.

Tanker Trailer: Used for liquid or dry bulk commodities depending on the tanker type. Common for chemicals, food-grade liquids, fuel, water, and bulk materials.
