Well, the van lights were fixed. Thank you to Jason Blackford and to all who recommended him, not only did he get the lights fixed, but he even did some extra work on the van. The best part of all this is when I asked him how much it was gonna be he told me it was on the house. That is the second small business in Marshalltown that has done this for us so we are gonna pay it forward. Along with Jason we are going to donate a percentage of the Bill to the Animal Rescue League. The rest of the bill we all decided would be used to help transport someone who we know in Marshalltown that needs it to get to appointments. I totally recommend Blackford Motorworx for any of your automotive and motorcycle repairs. It was wonderful meeting you Jason and we hope to continue our business relationship with you.

OK Marshalltown we need your help with our 14 passenger Mercedes. We had some undercarriage lighting installed by a shop in Des Moines. We took it down there months ago because the lights would work sporadically of course we tried turning them on the whole way down there to the shop that installed them and they wouldn't work but as soon as he gets it into the shop, they start working. We get halfway home and the lights aren't working again and haven't worked since we really don't want to take it back down there to them. Is there anyone in town that you know that can help us get the lights working again? Thank you in advance.

Hello Marshalltown, sorry for another long post. We have been contemplating on doing an expansion of services but the timing is just not right at the moment. When we were in Fort Dodge for the first year and a half of the companies existence, there were two active taxi cabs, including several Ubers. Our business model was to promote long distance airport/medical/group transportation. When we moved to Marshalltown roughly 8 months ago, Google was telling us that there was still two active taxi cabs. We came here with the assumption of doing the same thing we did in Fort Dodge. It wasn't until we actually toured the house that we bought, that we found out that the two active taxi cabs on Google had been out of business for well over a year.  What does this mean for Marshalltown? It was a tough decision, but we have decided that we are going to continue the business model that we had in Fort Dodge, where we would simply concentrate on group transportation, medical transportation, and long distance airport shuttles. We are still planning on doing local transportation Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM as the schedule allows. Anything after 6 PM Monday through Friday would be limited to group charters, airport shuttles and Unity Point trips. We will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays unless they are for long distance airport shuttles, group transports, as long as they're pre-reserved. This does not mean that a future expansion is not possible. It's just not feasible at this time. We thank you for all the community support and patience with us as this is a small family owned company, but we will definitely strive to do the best we can. This takes affect immediately and we want to say thank you to everyone

We have a great story to share. This morning we got a call from Mike at Independent Auto. Our wheelchair van needed exhaust repairs and he was grateful for what we do here in Marshalltown and said no charge for the repair. We weren't expecting that. I then proceeded to tell him about our voucher program and we all decided we will take what he was going to charge us and buy vouchers instead. We would like to use the amount of the bill for someone who has a medical appointment out of town. Of course 20% of that amount will be given to our animal rescue league. Thank you Mike from Independent Auto for the generosity and now we get to help someone and help our fur babies.

Sorry to have to post this but once again someone in town who we charged a set price from her normal pick up spot which is by Napa to Walmart called us and had us pick her up by the vets home and the ride was more, got mad at us us and did not pay the entire fare. We had to blacklist her. From this point forward we will have to charge for the ride once you enter our vehicle.

Hello Marshalltown and surrounding areas I've been seeing a lot of post about people needing help with a variety of different things including transportation. I wanted to remind everyone that we do have vouchers for sale. They come in the form of $20 vouchers that are good for any round-trip inside the Marshalltown city limits and also $100 vouchers that people can use for out-of-town medical trips or even in town use and 20% of all voucher sales go to the animal rescue League here in Marshalltown. We love driving over there about once a month and surprising them with some cash and also so we could see the fur babies.

Weekend update. Today we have no service until probably after 3 pm. One car was taken in for repairs and the other had to go to Iowa City then Fort Dodge. If that car gets back sooner we will be available later today. We will be closed Sunday and Monday for the holiday. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you.
