Purchased by the Town of Marshfield in 1965 for a local share of $30,000, Marshfield Municipal Airport is a vibrant and active general aviation airport. From our rampside viewing area, you'll see aircraft ranging from vintage antiques to small business jets. Flight lessons and scenic/ photo flights are available through Shoreline Aviation.

This afternoon, crews had to call for Boston MedFlight to assist in an urgent call. Medflight is utilized to continue patient care as well as get a patient to a Boston hospital quickly when the situation calls for it. Their response area is all over eastern MA and beyond.

Along with the great partnership with Boston Medflight, we would like to thank Shoreline Aviation for their support. Their crews always provide assistance in ensuring the landing zone is safe as well as incoming aircraft.

Thank you both for your assistance and we wish everyone who needs this service a speedy recovery.

Paving the main ramp at Marshfield Airport is done. Which means the airport’s long-running safety improvement project is nearly complete. Just a gleam in planners’ eyes in 2002, the project has seen a bigger, safer runway installed in 2014 and now the reconstruction of the main ramp area, bringing the airport up to FAA standards.
