Accessibility for all riders is a top priority at Eastern Panhandle Transit Authority. Our drivers and staff are equipped with wheelchair lifts and other accessibility resources to ensure passengers of all mobility levels can travel safely, comfortably, and with confidence.

Our new Multi-modal Transit Center will feature a transfer location with even pavement that will ensure safe boarding for riders with disabilities.

For 50 years, Jim McGowan has been a dedicated member of the Eastern Panhandle Transit Authority Board of Directors. Throughout his decades of service, he has played an important role in guiding our organization and helping it grow alongside the communities we serve.

His commitment, leadership, and support have left a lasting impact on EPTA and the people who rely on us every day. We are incredibly grateful for all that Jim has done over the years.

Thank you, Jim, for your remarkable service and dedication to Eastern Panhandle Transit! We can’t wait to celebrate 50 years of EPTA with you in November.
