• Standard Inspection (Cash or Check): $19.78 total
• Standard Inspection (Credit/Debit Card): $20.00 total
• Modified Inspection (Cash or Check): $25.90 total
• Modified Inspection (Credit/Debit Card): $26.25 total
⚠️ 5-Day Rejection Clause (State Law):
The statutory fee applies to the testing procedure itself. Vehicles that do not meet state safety standards will receive an official rejection sticker. Per West Virginia State Police regulations, you are granted exactly 5 days to complete necessary repairs and return to this station for a safety re-test.
📋 Required Documentation:
State law requires the vehicle operator to present these original documents before testing begins:
1. A current, valid Vehicle Registration card (or official title/bill of sale)
2. Valid Certificate of Insurance
ℹ️ Statutory Exemptions:
Vehicles displaying official West Virginia antique plates and light utility trailers weighing under 2,000 lbs are legally exempt from the state inspection mandate.

To minimize testing delays, please ensure your vehicle satisfies these basic safety criteria before entering the inspection lane:
✔ All exterior lights and indicators operate properly (including license plate lamps)
✔ Windshield wiper blades wipe cleanly without tearing or smearing
✔ No structural cracks are present in the driver's direct field of vision
✔ The dashboard Airbag (SRS) safety warning light is not illuminated
✔ Aftermarket window tint measures at or above the legal 35% light transmission limit
