✨ Weekend SideKick Picks ✨

Here’s what we’re loving this weekend. Drop what we’re missing below 👇

🍺 **Oktoberfest at Streetside Brewery**
We love Streetside because it really feels like part of the community and Columbia Tusculum is such a fun Cincinnati neighborhood to explore. Grab a stein, enjoy live music from Bass-ic Instinct Tuba-Euph Quartet, and celebrate with German-inspired food, fun and Streetside’s festbier, Rainy Day Clubhouse. 🎶🍻 Pro tip: make an afternoon of it and explore the neighborhood while you’re there!

🛍️ **ArtisanFest 513 Vintage Flea**
One of our favorite ways to spend a beautiful Saturday! Head to Washington Park, grab a coffee or lemonade, shop local and dig through vintage treasures, handmade goods and unique finds from Cincinnati small businesses. There are ONLY TWO more Vintage Fleas left this year! 👀 If you’re visiting Cincinnati, this is our kind of souvenir shopping.

💪 **Cincy Fitness Sampler with Beauty Boost**
Spend Saturday at Summit Park with 6 back-to-back workouts, 75+ wellness stations, swag bags, giveaways and plenty of opportunities to try something new. ✨ Pro tip: Need a ticket? Our SideKick Jordyn, WHO ARE YOU WEARING? can help you out with a discount code!

🎆 **WEBN Fireworks & Riverfest**
One of Cincinnati’s biggest nights of the year! Riverfest brings music, food and family-friendly fun to both the Cincinnati AND Northern Kentucky riverfronts before the iconic Rozzi fireworks show lights up the Ohio River. This year is extra special as Riverfest celebrates its 50th anniversary, with a drone show at 9:01 p.m. followed by fireworks around 9:05 p.m. Grab a blanket, find a rooftop or make a night of it along the riverfront. Cincy and Northern KY come alive for this one!

Save this for your next trip to Cincinnati. 🩷

Everybody does downtown and OTR. Fewer people make it up the hill to Mt. Adams, and that’s exactly why it’s worth the climb.

It’s walkable, it’s got the views, and the food and drinks are spectacular. Luca Bistro, Mt. Adams Bar And Grill, Bow Tie Café - Cincinnati, The Blind Lemon, Monk’s Cove are just a handful of the great spots to check out (there are many more). A SideKick knows the rest, the timing, and the ones that fit your vibe.

Skip the tourist loop. We’ll point you to the Cincinnati locals actually love. 🩷

Meeting travelers like Sarah is our favorite part of this.

She reached out from Lexington with a few questions, and here’s what she told us after: “It was super helpful to have someone to message with a quick question. And even when Erica didn’t know the answer she and the SideKick team went the extra mile to try to find the answer for me. That made it so much easier to just relax instead of trying to figure everything out myself.”

That’s the whole reason SideKick exists. Not a pile of links, but a real local in your corner who wants your trip to feel easy. In her words, “I love the concept so much and think it’s so useful.”

Thank you for letting us be part of your Cincinnati trip, Sarah. 🩷

Here’s what we’re loving this weekend. Drop what we’re missing below 👇

🍹 12th Annual Margarita Madness

Sample signature margaritas and light bites from some of the city’s favorite bars and restaurants, then vote for your favorite to win People’s Choice Best Margarita. Live music and DJs keep the party going, all with some of the best skyline views around. And the bridge’s new color-changing lights might just be getting a margarita-inspired glow-up for the occasion.

🎷 1940s Day at Union Terminal
Step back in time at one of Cincinnati’s most iconic buildings. Union Terminal is celebrating the 1940s with classic cars, live music, vintage fashion, a costume contest, tours, KidSPACE activities, and more. Break out the pin curls, suspenders, or Zoot suit and make a day of it!

🧡🖤 Orange & Black Bash
Football season is almost here, and Cincinnati is getting ready in style! Head to Braxton Brewing at Factory 52 and The Gatherall for a full day of Bengals-themed fun, including a pop-up market, dog costume contest, fashion show, fan competitions, scavenger hunt, and even a Joe Burrow lookalike contest. Comment LOCAL and we’ll match you with a Cincinnati local before your trip 🩷.

Stop scrolling through reviews. This is what talking to an actual local looks like.

A traveler messaged Erica, one of our SideKicks, before the Open. She asked where to eat around Oakley and what to do for the evening session. Erica came back with Jeff Ruby’s, Alfio’s, and Graeter’s to end the night, plus a brunch tip most people don’t know. Then, while she was at the grounds, she walked the food court and texted over the menus. Nobody asked her to. The conversation continued to other topics before she arrived and once she was in Cincinnati.

That’s the whole thing. Not a stack of reviews or a list you dig through. A real local who’s already there. A real local who wants to share their interests and help travelers explore Cincinnati to the fullest.

Comment the word LOCAL and we’ll match you with a Cincinnati local for your trip 🩷.

Here’s what people keep getting wrong about us.

We’re not paid influencers. Most of our locals aren’t even that active on social media. They’re just people who love this city and know it well.
We’re not a blog or a chatbot. You text back and forth with a real person.
And it’s not just me. We’re a whole crew of locals, each with our own thing. I take the family and kid questions, Anna’s your coffee person, Brett knows where to eat.

You tell us your dates, we match you with the local who fits, and they help you plan the whole weekend by text.

Each SideKick only takes a few trips a weekend, so the sooner you comment, the better your pick of locals.

Save this and send it to whoever’s coming to visit 🩷.
