Your daily calendar reminds you that the person rear-ended by your temp driver is moving forward with litigation. PTG LOGISTICS, LLC. Is seeking an experienced logistics manager for an onsite dedicated fleet in Carthage, TN. You will be responsible for the daily operations and will be working directly with our customers. You must be a self-starter with strong leadership skills and the ability to make independent decisions.

Focus on Safety, Service and Professionalism.

Responsible for dispatching Class A drivers, customer satisfaction, equipment utilization and DOT compliance. Extensive knowledge of DOT hours of regulation. Ensure accurate load entry, dispatch and on time delivery. Experience with dispatch software, electronic logs, and Microsoft based applications a plus.

Ensure all company safety policies are understood and enforced. Assist with safety training through safety bulletins. Ensure that all Hours of Service regulations, DOT/State regulations, and company safety policies are in compliance. Ensure all assigned tractor and trailers are PM/BIT inspected within time lines, and equipment damages on the safety register in a timely manner.

Excellent internal and external customer relation skills and ability to implement safety and compliance per company policy.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the transportation industry including routing and dispatching.

CDL is a plus but not required.

• 2 weeks total vacation after only 1 year
• OFF and HOME EVERY Friday and Saturday!

SKILLS & BACKGROUND
• Class A CDL with Good MVR
• 6 months Class A Experience
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must possess a passion towards SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE
