Looking for a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic!

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Schedule: M, T, TR, F 7am-4pm, W & Sat 7am-12pm with 1 hour lunch
Work Location: In-person
Pay Based on Experience
Benefits:
- Health insurance
- 3% IRA match
- Paid holidays (after 90 day probation) and automatic 1 week of vacation after 1 year. 1hr per 40 hours worked before 1 year.
Job Description:
-Must be able to change and repair tires on both the trucks and trailers.
-Responsible for all truck and trailer repairs.
-Main duties include: inspecting and running diagnostics on trucks and inspecting and repairing trailers.
-Extensive knowledge of Detroit engines preferred.
-Also responsible for oil changes/services and completing Annual DOT inspections, etc.
-Must be detail oriented, mechanically inclined and able to communicate with vendors effectively.
-Responsible for ordering parts.
-Will work both onsite and off-site utilizing our service truck.

Now looking for a company driver with a Valid CDL!
Company Driver Description includes:
- Over-the-road truck driver - Able to be away from home for extended periods of time, available for round-the-clock trips and able to remain alert while driving for periods of up to 11 hours.
- Able to squat, crouch and reach as needed; able to enter and exit the vehicle’s cab numerous times each day; Hook and unhook trailers; Secure freight with load locks and straps
- Able to deliver freight in a timely manner and meet pickup/delivery appointments
- Perform routine pre and post trip inspections on truck and trailer, and refer defects/repairs to the office.
- Keep accurate and legal hours of service with minimal violations
- Must have customer service skills and be able to represent the company in a professional manner
- Must be able to work in severe weather conditions—both heat and cold.
