Please join us in welcoming our new General Manager, Brandon Pelato!
Inspired by his grandfather, a U.S. Air Force veteran and Flight Test Engineer in the defense industry, Brandon developed a passion for aviation at an early age. He is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics with a minor in Unmanned Aircraft Systems. While attending college, Brandon also became a first-generation pilot, earning his Private Pilot License and later adding an Instrument Rating. His flying experience includes a variety of fixed-wing aircraft, with over 200 flight hours logged.
Brandon began his career with Freeman Holdings Group in early 2022 as an Aircraft Refueler at Million Air Riverside. During his time there, he advanced through multiple leadership positions, ultimately serving as Line Manager under the mentorship of General Manager Sammy Desopo. While based in Riverside, Brandon also completed a multi-week assignment supporting military refueling exercises at sister location Million Air Honolulu, broadening his knowledge of operations across the Freeman Holdings network. His development with the company helped shape his leadership philosophy and provided the foundation for his continued growth within the aviation industry.
Prior to joining Million Air Syracuse, Brandon served as the Operations Manager for a high-volume FBO at Denver International Airport. In this role, he led day-to-day general aviation operations while overseeing more than 450 annual charter flights supporting professional and collegiate sports teams. Other responsibilities included working closely with government agencies in support of presidential and vice-presidential visits, contributing to the planning and ex*****on of security-sensitive aircraft movements. The overall experience he gained in Denver further strengthened his ability to lead in fast-paced environments where safety, service, and operational efficiency are critical to success.
Brandon is thrilled to return to Freeman Holdings Group and lead the team at Million Air Syracuse. He is committed to developing future leaders and empowering team members to grow both personally and professionally, while elevating the customer experience and championing the values represented by the Million Air brand.
