McAlester Tourism had the honor of attending Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell’s final Lt. Governor’s Tourism Summit as he concludes an incredible eight years of service to the State of Oklahoma!

Throughout his time in office, Lt. Governor Pinnell has been a passionate advocate for Oklahoma’s tourism industry, championing our communities, celebrating what makes our state unique, and helping showcase Oklahoma as a destination worth discovering! ❤️

His unwavering dedication, vision, and belief in the potential of Oklahoma tourism have been a true inspiration to tourism professionals across our great state.

Thank you, Lt. Governor Pinnell, for eight years of extraordinary leadership, advocacy, and commitment to moving Oklahoma tourism forward! Your impact will be felt for years to come!

The temperatures are cooling down, the costumes are coming out, and we've got ANOTHER week and weekend PACKED with events for you! From live music and fall festivals to spooky celebrations and family fun, there's something for EVERYONE! 🍁👻

🎶 MONDAY: Kick off the week with a special community performance! The Pride of McAlester presents Across the Universe at Hook Eales Stadium at 8 PM! 🎺🥁

🎤 THURSDAY: Dancing Rabbit Music Festival Spotlight Series continues with Autumn Ragland – LIVE! Don't miss another fantastic night of live music!

And around here, that means it's time to start preparing for one of our FAVORITE McAlester holiday traditions!

🌟 CALLING ALL BUSINESSES & ORGANIZATIONS! 🌟

Registration is OPEN for the 4th Annual Festival of Trees & Lights On at Arvest Park! 🎄

You know the drill, McAlester! Gather your coworkers, friends, or organization members, grab a Christmas tree, and get ready to spread some HOLIDAY CHEER! ❤️💚

🎄 Here's how it works:

✨ STEP 1: Register your business or organization to participate!

✨ STEP 2: Bring your tree to Arvest Park on Friday, November 20, before NOON!

✨ STEP 3: Deck those branches! Decorate your tree and get it ready to shine!

✨ STEP 4: Join us on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, as we officially KICK OFF the 2026 Holiday Season with our community, lighting up Arvest Park and celebrating the magic of the season with friends and neighbors! 🎅🎄

🏆 AND DON'T FORGET THE FRIENDLY COMPETITION!
