As all good things must come to an end. We are currently wrapping up our last two customer projects and we will be closing our doors. Reading Car Company will be picking up our NE style cabooses so if you are on the wait list with us please contact them to place a new order. O the sight of our new W&LE / NKP Cabooses in different stages of completion. I would like to apologize for longer lead times on our Cars. Due to the increased hours at my full time job (Real Railroad) it is limiting my availability in my shop. At this time I will no longer be giving estimated time frames for individual cars to be built. If you have an order placed you will be contacted when we are ready to start building your car. Here is Reading caboose 92887 getting closer to completion! This is our first NE caboose and this style of caboose can be modified to accommodate specific railroads to customer request. The roofs on these cabooses are removable and have three different options for walkways. For this caboose it has the wood walkways and platforms which is made of steel for durability and deterioration reasons.
