History was made today as the Covid -19 vaccine began to be transported across the country. Regardless of your opinion of the current political state of our country, this is a big day for our the United States. Fed Ex Custom Critical with a few other premier carriers, will be moving this product across the US for those who need it the most.
Hopefully G2 Express will be a small part of getting and keeping our Nation healthy.

The first shipment of vaccine doses from our Kalamazoo, Michigan plant with UPS and FedEx. For months, our teams have been planning, preparing, strategizing and testing. We know that every minute counts. Every dose counts.

The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine has not been approved or licensed by the U.S. FDA, but has been authorized for emergency use by FDA, under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) to prevent Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) for use in individuals 16 years of age and older. G2 Express,LLC is growing and we are looking to add a same household team!

Teams need to have a class A or B CDL with hazmat endorsement and air brakes.
Tanker endorsement and passport are a plus but not required.
Truck is contracted with Fedex Custom Critical White Glove division.
This is a 1099 contractor position and pay is 60/40 split with drivers making 60%.

We are definitely in a ‘never before seen’ time of our lives throughout this whole world. Things are uncertain and scary and we aren’t totally sure what to do all the time.
When we started this journey to become owners of our own truck, the world was “normal”, at least in our world.
At the time we ordered our truck, our estimated time of delivery was middle to end of April.
However, as anyone in the expediting world knows, the building of these customized and carrier specific trucks often runs way longer than initial delivery date.
First the truck chassis has to be ordered, it then is sent to the customers choice of custom sleeper manufacturer. In our case we are doing a temperature control box so it has to have the box manufactured and re**er unit added along with a lift gate.
Final stop in the building process is the Thermoking dealer to hook everything up.
When there is a glitch at any one of these stops, it effects the delivery date.
I am doing a bit of whining right now as we were on schedule to take delivery of our beautiful new truck within the next couple of weeks to month.
I have been following up with the box manufacturer every couple of weeks and or truck is still not in their shop to have our box built. Hopefully it will be within the next couple weeks.
I know all things happen for a reason, but I am sad that this is happening. I know this is such a ‘first world problem”.
We have our health and are still able to work.
We are hopeful that the world will be able to return to what will surely be a new normal soon and people can safely go back to work and seeing friends and family.
Our truck will be finished when it is finished and we will go from there.

We are excited to share that after 5 years of being contractors with Fedex Custom Critical, on March 1, 2020, Andy and I became owners of our first Fedex Custom Critical truck!
Introducing G2 Express!
While this has become a crazy time to jump in, we jumped headfirst! We had no idea the world would be this crazy.
Adding to the chaos, we are awaiting the arrival of our brand new truck. We had ordered our new truck in October before we were given the option of purchasing our current truck.
So we are now owners of one and soon to be 2 Fedex Custom Critical trucks.
