Just some pictures of what's growing!🌱 We're about halfway through our first round of plantings, should be complete in the next few weeks. The rain has definitely slowed us down a bit, but we're getting out in between rains.
Market season will be starting next week!
Here is where you can find us all summer.

🥕 Mechanicsburg Farmers Market ( ) Tuesdays starting June 2nd from 5pm to 7pm across from

🥬 the 1st and 3rd Saturdays starting June 6th from 9am till noon

💐 for BYOB (Build Your Own Bouquet) BIWEEKLY Wednesdays starting June 17th from 5:30pm till 9pm

🍅 Prairie Township Farmers Market Mondays starting June 22nd from 4pm-7pm

We're also hoping to have some on farm days with a setup for you to get some local fresh produce and more.

Because I can't resist...swarm number 3. It's hard to let them go when they're eye level. Plus, it's gonna rain all night.

Bee work today 🐝.
Swarm number 2 caught, it's a much bigger hive then what was left in the tree. I forgot to take a picture before I started. The queen let herself be seen and handled, we're BFF's now.😂
There's still another swarm about 30 feet up in a tree, yeah I don't think I'll be getting them.
I also added brood boxes on to two hives. (Last picture) Both hives took advantage of me being busy in the garden and filled in the spacers I use for winter feeding. And...I decided they could keep it. 😳 That's a lot of hard work I didn't have it in me to destroy. Plus, they were being so nice I didn't want to push my luck. No stingers today, thank you very much.

Starting this season, you can have fresh beautiful bouquets made for you every other week - grown and designed right here at the farm by our talented team.

Pick up is every other Thursday starting June 25, with 4 convenient locations (including the farm)

Did your kiddos come home talking about chicks/chickens before spring break? Ms.Parsons is wonderful isn't she!
Those chicks came here to our tiny farm and they're growing fast. By the end of the week they'll be ready to go hang out with the other older chicks untill they're all ready to go to the big chicken coop.
Merida, Honeybun, Oreo and Starfire are doing really good and growing fast.
starts May 16th, if you happen to go, stop by and talk chickens!

🥺 The raccoons are already causing trouble! This is my newly seeded spinach row, covered with new fabric to keep bugs and the chickens out.
This evening I discovered holes dug out and they even chewed through the fabric. Raccoons were not on my radar.

We have this cherry tree(ornamental) on the side of the house, it's beautiful right now. Smells amazing and the bees love it.
Yesterday while mowing I caught the bees all over it, and had to stop to enjoy the moment.
