Today isn’t just about tacos and margaritas (though we love those too!) - it’s a chance to recognize and celebrate Mexican culture, history, and resilience.

Did you know? Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico’s Independence Day (that’s September 16). It actually commemorates the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, when a small, outnumbered Mexican army defeated the powerful French forces. While it’s actually minor holiday in Mexico, it's become a big celebration of Mexican culture and heritage, especially in the U.S.

I recently saw a television news segment suggesting that travelers should use a travel advisor for ideas… and then go book everything themselves.

I want to gently clear that up—because there’s a 𝒃𝒊𝒈 misconception behind it.

Most travel advisors (us included) are paid by a commission that’s already built into the cost of your trip—whether you use us or not. Which means when you’re standing at baggage claim, it suddenly becomes a game of:
