Bait taken?

I read President Trump's post. Then I made a post saying something to the effect "Exactly what have we done for the world the past 47 years?"
Boy oh boy. Did I catch hell for that one. Robert King told me to get my head out of my ass. Others made lists of the tremendous accomplishments we have made the past 47 years, such as the internet!
But that was not what President Trump was talking about. He was talking about war, proxies, and how Iran has been "breaking all of our rules" for the past 47 years. Understood, and I will not get into reasons Iran does what it do. (Excuse the grammar)
My point is this. For most of the past 47 years, we have been directly in wars, or war through proxies (such as Ukraine).
Millions of innocent people have been slaughtered in these wars. I would bet our wars and our proxies have taken ten fold the innocent lives Iran has taken through its wars (Two I believe, Iraq and US) and it's proxies.
Now let's ponder perhaps our most devastating weapon. It is called sanctions. If a country does not do exactly as we wish, we punish them with sanctions. One of our prestigeous colleges just came out with a study and the results were mind bending. Our sanctions, over the past 47 years for sure, has killed millions upon millions of innocent people.
And come to think of it, I do believe Iran has been sanctioned by you, and me, for much of the past 47 years. Perhaps that is part of the reasons things are like they are.
Think about it. If we get ourselves into all of this BS, you would think we would be victorious, and proud! But we are not. We lose our treasure, our soldiers blood, and our credibility as a nation. We are not fighting these wars to make our world a better place. We fight these wars so a few will enrich themselves off of somebody else's natural resources.
This is another problem we got ourselves into. Not me and you, but our elected leaders.
We pretty much kept most of the world under our thumb with the good ole petro dollar. Now the petro dollar is not doing so well, is it? Perhaps others see what has and is happening, and out of self preservation they are making changes. Changes we probably do not like.
So what are we going to do? It looks like our answer to the problems we created ourselves is war. War that breaks international law in many instances. Just hold on, it is going to be a wild ride that is for sure.
I can't wait to read the comments to this post in a few days. I find them amusing!

The S**t Show begins!

Last night we started bombing Iran.

This is our problem. We gave Ukraine much of our missile stockpile. And we really don't build stuff like we used to, because we quit building stuff and our industry that used to make stuff moved overseas to places like China.
Russia and China are mass producing missiles and other military hardware. We can't mass produce hardly anything any more, much less missiles, artillery shells,tanks, and other military hardware.

So Iran will hunker down, absorb our attacks, and wait until we use up our missiles which are in short supply, once again because we gave so much to Ukraine. And guess what.
By the way. Ukraine has been getting it's ass kicked, and has lost the war already. Yet the Ukraine leadership, and our media, continually lies, trying to pretend Ukraine is still in the fight.
Iran, once we use up even more of our missile stockpile, will wait until we are critically low on missiles. Then Iran will counter attack by sending their missiles towards all of our bases in the middle east. Iran is actually already bombing our allies in the region
China is watching. China also knows about our missile shortages. Once we blow our wad in Iran, China, might figure it is a good time to go ahead and invade Taiwan!
Our stupid allies in NATO are making plans to give Ukraine a nuclear bomb! And how do you think Russia will respond to this, if it happens?
Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. And the reason Russia invaded Ukraine is because we were grooming Ukraine to fight Russia for many years. Our dream was for Russia to fold and then we would move in and steal all of their natural resources. Russia has absolutely no intention to invade our NATO allies.
All I am saying is bombing Iran could really get out of hand if we do not watch it. Iran as part of bricks, which China and Russia are a part of. Russia and China are sending Iran missiles also.
This war with Iran could really get out of hand if we don't watch it!
This is the other thing. Ever since I can remember we have been bringing up this Iran having a nuclear bomb crap. Yet they never seem to get one! I think it is just an excuse to justify spending one trillion dollars a year on our military! To spend 1 trillion a year on our military, you have to have enemies right? Right. And so the grift goes on, and on, and on.
Let's pray this Iran situation does not get out of hand.

How Veteran Support Began. Join us today!
I created Veteran Support back in 2017. I had just moved to Florida from Virginia, and to be honest, finances were tough at the time.
Before the move, I had sold quite a few items on Facebook Marketplace — things I no longer needed — and I realized it was a fairly easy way to make some extra cash. When I got to Florida, I figured I could do the same thing here.
I honestly can’t remember exactly why I created this group, or even why I named it Veteran Support. Looking back, I think the truth is simple: I was a struggling veteran myself, and I probably needed some support.
At first, everything moved very slowly. The group only had about 10 members. There wasn’t much being offered for sale, and I wasn’t making much money at all. To be completely honest, I had almost forgotten about the group.
Then something happened that changed everything.
A fellow veteran reached out to me who was in a very dark place. He shared something with me that shook me to my core — because I had been in that same mental state before. The first thing I asked him was whether he knew about the su***de hotline. He did. But then we just… talked. For a long time.
We realized we had been through many of the same experiences. By the end of that conversation, we were laughing. We stayed in touch for quite a while afterward, and as far as I know, he made it through that tough time.
That moment made me realize something important:
Veteran Support could be more than just buying and selling things.
I had already navigated much of the VA system myself — the claims process, using my GI Bill for school, buying a home through the VA, and receiving my healthcare through the VA. More importantly, I enjoyed helping other veterans. It gave me a sense of purpose and self-worth.
Fast forward to 2026, and Veteran Support now has over 10,000 members and followers between our group and page. As we’ve grown, I’ve noticed something incredible: the quality of items offered has improved, sales come easier, and we’re able to do more — offering rides, bringing food and drinks to homeless veterans, and helping in other meaningful ways.
This is why I continue to push to grow this group.
This is why I keep asking members to invite others.
Not only does growth mean better items and easier sales — it means more veterans can find support when they need it most.
Your membership truly matters. And I promise to keep doing everything I can to make this group better.

How it all began.
I created Veteran Support in 2017. I had just moved to Florida, and finances were tough at that time.
We had moved from Virginia, and I sold quite a few items I did not want any more on Facebook Marketplace. I found the process pretty easy, made some easy cash, and decided I could do the same thing here in Florida to earn some extra cash.
I cant remember why I decided to create this group. And I really do not remember why I called it Veteran Support! I guess I was a struggling veteran at the time and needed some support!
At first everything went really slow. I had even kind of forgotten all about the group. We had like 10 members, nothing offered for sale except a few items I had posted, and I wasn't making crap to be honest.

The first thing I did was ask him if he knew about the su***de hotline. He knew about it. But then we just talked for a really long time. We had both been through many of the same experiences. By the end of our conversation, we were both laughing, and we actually stayed in touch for quite a while. I think he ended up doing ok and made it through that tough time.
It is then I realized Veteran Support could be much more than just selling stuff. I could actually help other veterans because I had navigated much of the VA system. On top of that I enjoyed helping other veterans. It gave me a sense of self-worth.
Today it is 2026, and Veteran Support has over 10,000 members and followers between our page and group! And as we have grown, I noticed the quality of the items offered has dramatically improved. And sales come much easier! It has also enabled me to do more like offer rides, bring food and drinks to homeless veterans, and much more!
This is the reason I am continually trying to grow the group. And it is why I keep asking our members to take the time to help grow our group also. Not only are the items offered better, and sales come easier, but perhaps most important more veterans can find veteran support and can reach out to us if they want to!
This is also why your membership is so important, and why I promise to keep trying to make the group better!
