🚌🚨 Important Reminder for Bus Riders! 🚨🚌

💳 Starting Wednesday, August 26, all students must have their school-issued badge to ride the bus home. Students without a badge or a Temporary Bus Pass will not be allowed to ride. Please double-check backpacks before heading out the door!

✅ Elementary Students – Badges are attached to backpacks.🎒
✅ Secondary Students – Badges should be worn or carried all day, every day at school.

Badges help us make sure every student gets on the right bus and arrives home safely. A quick scan keeps everything running smoothly and securely.

🔹 What to do before Wednesday 🔹
✅ Make sure your student has their badge ready.
✅If it’s lost or damaged, contact the front office ASAP for a replacement.
❌Not registered yet?❌ Submit a Request for Transportation in PowerSchool and ask the office for a Temporary Bus Pass.🚌

Practice with younger students so they know where their badge is and can use it independently.

ON THE SPOT OFFERS!

School Bus Driver Starting Wage: Starting at $22.71/Hour – $27.86/Hour Hour based on experience.
Hiring Bonus: $2,500 hiring bonus for fully credentialed drivers (1,000 for new CDL Drivers)
(Please see on-site team for Sign-on Bonus details).

Guaranteed Hours: 20 hours per week 4 hrs per day

Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no CDL needed to start).
Must have held a driver’s license for at least 3 years (5 years if applying in Tennessee).
Minimum age: 21 (25 in Tennessee).If you’ve held a DOT-regulated driving role in the past 3 years, we must be able to verify that employment per DOT guidelines.
Pass DOT drug screen, physical, and background check
Compliance with DOT regulations (ma*****na prohibited, even for medical use)
Reliable attendance & safety-first attitude
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED -WE TRAIN!

Casual attire, come as you are and wear running shoes or work shoes for the Physical Performance Test.

Summertime is in full swing, but our dedication to safety never rests! To prep for the upcoming school year, our West Ada and Boise teams got together to attend a Train the Trainer Refresher session. With the session led by Matt Sanchez, Area Safety Manager, team members put their experience and knowledge to the test on important safety procedures, assessments, and more. Both teams had a wonderful, invaluable experience thanks to Matt and enjoyed the opportunity to bond, partner, and learn together.

250th Birthday STAR ID parade on 4th of July

This year Durham School Services, Meridian ID got to partake in the STAR ID 4th of July Parade. It was a blast!!! We showed up and Showed out!! It was so nice to be out in the community Celebrating USA’s 250th Birthday and showing off our pride together as one!!! Happy Birthday America! 🇺🇸🎇 Durham School Services

Saturday June 27th Durham School Services -Meridian participated in their 3rd year as being a part of Meridian’s Dairy Days Parade. The Team came out a represented our community and what are mission is. Our mission is to provide a safe, reliable transportation for the students at West Ada School District. The team had a blast handing out candy as well as show off our “Red White and Moo” decorated bus!! We even got interviewed by our local news station!! Great job to all that came out, showed up and showed out!!! I would personally like to thank Dione A. Nancolas for doing an AMAZING job at decorating our bus for the event!! WTG One Team!!!
