Club member David Brimblecom's beautiful Eurocopter EC-135 at last night’s flying session. ☀️ 🚁 David flew the full scale version of this model and did a fantastic job painting this RC version to match it. 🖼️

Did you know? 🤔Our field is not only utilized by radio control aircraft, but also by control line aircraft.

Club member Rick Campbell often comes on beautiful calm mornings to practice his control line stunt patterns. 🛩️

Back in 2024 after multiple months of practice, Rick went to the Academy of Model Aeronautics national competition and was crowned the Advanced Class Aerobatics Champion! 🏅

He is pictured here yesterday flying his control line model while a radio control free flight-based design in the foreground waits its turn to fly. ☀️

Thank you to Rotor Technologies for making a kind donation to our club. 🙏

Rotor is a local company based at the Nashua airport that develops autonomous full-scale helicopters. 🚁 They have full permission to use our flying site under part 107 (commercial) for testing purposes and they are fully insured and legal to do so. You may see them at the field from time to time, be sure to say hello! 👋

Stay tuned for an opportunity for club members to get a tour of their facility at the Nashua airport. 😁 Thank you, Rotor Technologies!

We’d like to take a moment to thank Andy Finley’s former fiancé, Lisa-Jo, for a generous monetary donation to our club following his recent passing. 🙏

Andy was a respected RC enthusiast and past president of the Wrentham Lazy Loopers, regularly attended our club events, and flew competively with John Yassemedis as well. ✈️

This donation helped go towards making this and one other awesome new field stand, both expertly made by club member John Spitz. Thanks for the great work, John! 🔨

The second new field stand will be arriving at the field soon. It will be dedicated to Andy via a memorial plaque on the stand, which is being coordinated by several additional club volunteers. 🙂

Stay tuned for details on the spreading of Mr. Finley’s ashes at the field on a Saturday this May, as well as photos of the plaque. 🙏
