This customer moved into a new spot with no furniture but couldn’t afford to miss their shift to pick it up.

We made quick work to get it to their place, scaled a 5ft tall wall and placed it discreetly on their patio so they could put it together when the time was right.

With gas prices flirting with $5 a gallon, IKEA’s Click & Collect has stepped up to meet market demand in a big way and their team is great at getting orders filled quick and out to their customers.

Measure twice, lift once.

Not all elevators are created equal. This past Sunday, we had an apartment move from the 2nd floor at the pickup to the 4th floor at the drop off.

En route we gave our eta to the customer who reassured us saying, “Don’t worry, there’s an elevator.”

The first elevator wasn’t huge but it was tall, so everything, including their sofa, fit.

Upon arrival to the drop off, our “will it fit spidey sense” activated and the mood quickly changed.

Sure enough, everything BUT the sofa fit and we wound up climbing 3 flights of stairs to complete the job.

Apologies and gratuity go a long way, but the soreness remains. 😫

Deliveries made difficult. 😞

While waiting on a gate code to get my customer their things, someone got flashed by the police and decided to pull into the complex we were at.

The officer pulled behind them and blocked the only entrance we could fit the whip in. 😫

We used the delay to update our arrival times as the two gigs after this one would be late as well.

We do our best to be punctual, but sometimes it’s literally out of our control. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Luckily, I’m 2 for 2 using find my phone after my watch failed to connect to it. 🤨

Of course, I had to drive 30 minutes home to get another device, 30 minutes back, then track it, find the guy who picked it up and give him $20 for his troubles. 🙏🏽
