Looking forward to seeing your arrival at KCOS!
Cutter Aviation: Your Host FBO
Cutter Aviation is the host FBO for the 2026 PMOPA Convention at Colorado Springs Airport (KCOS), and their team is ready to welcome PMOPA attendees arriving by air. Cutter will provide aircraft parking, fueling, ground transportation assistance, and other FBO services. We appreciate Cutter Aviation’s support of our Convention and their hospitality in welcoming the PMOPA community to Colorado Springs! A few important things to know before you arrive:
• Contact Cutter airborne: You can reach Cutter Aviation on 131.0 while airborne to let them know you’re on your way.
• IFR arrivals: Please do not cancel IFR in the air. Remain with Colorado Springs Approach; the tower will cancel your flight plan after you land.
• International arrivals: If you will be clearing Customs at Colorado Springs, contact Cutter in advance to obtain clearance to land.
• Follow the ramp team: Cutter ramp agents will be positioned to direct you to the appropriate parking area, typically in front of the FBO or on the south ramp.
• Leave the parking brake OFF: After shutting down, do not set your parking brake. Ramp agents will chock your aircraft and may need to move your aircraft on the ramp.
• Have your fuel order ready: Please provide your fuel order as soon as you pull onto the ramp so Cutter can begin fueling your aircraft promptly.
• Tell Cutter when you’re leaving: Upon arrival, let the ramp team know your planned departure date and time. This will help them determine where to position your aircraft so it will be accessible when you are ready to depart.
With a busy Thursday arrival period expected, a little advance preparation will help make the process smooth for everyone. We look forward to seeing you and your airplane at Cutter Aviation!
