We're joining the American Waterways Operators in recognizing Stop Falls Overboard Day and raising awareness about one of the maritime industry's most serious hazards.

In its 2025 Falls Overboard Prevention Report, AWO analyzed 118 falls overboard incidents from 2012–2024. The findings showed that 68% of incidents occurred on barges, 66% happened at night, and deckhands were involved in more than half of all reported cases.
