UPDATE:

Due to the fact that the landfill remains closed as well as most highways, River Parish Disposal will remain closed on Thursday, January 23rd with the hope of reopening on Friday. It simply isn’t safe for anyone to be out and about in these conditions. Thank you for understanding. Stay safe and warm.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved founder and leader, Weldon "The Gator" Frommeyer. Weldon was more than just the visionary behind River Parish Disposal; he was a friend to all who crossed his path and a dedicated champion of both his employees and his customers.

As we navigate this loss, we are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from all of you. Weldon may no longer walk among us, but "The Gator" will always be with us.
