As you may be well aware, unfortunately since last Monday Turkey has been facing the detrimental effects of two consecutive earthquakes with massive magnitude (approx: 7.8) as well as around 185 aftershocks.
Our central team was not affected, but the situation in the event zone is very complicated.
We deeply acknowledge the sincere solidarity you have been portraying and would like to assure you that İstanbul isn't affected by the earthquake.
However, we would like to inform you that the earthquake severely impacted countless residences, historical sites and ports alongside taking thousands of lives. Turkish Airports such as Hatay Airport, Gaziantep International Airport and Adana Airport are closed until further notice. The Port of Iskenderun has been shut down due to severe structural damage whilst conducting a fire extinguishing operation against an ongoing fire, the workforce in Mersin Port has been decreased yet still persistent and operations in Ceyhan Marine Terminal in Adana are suspended. Across the region many roads have been damaged inhibiting transportation. Factories in Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep and South East are closed.
Our deepest prayers are with our country and we wish condolences to the ones who were harmed by this devastating event.
