How I get the best upload quality possible with
IG Reels, - 2024 Update

→ 1.) Upload Settings:
I export my footage at 1080p
& try to keep the file size on the lower side
I first colour grade then add 10-30 of sharpness to the video.

→ 2.) CapCut Paid Version:
I then import the 1080p clip into CapCut & use the video quality setting to HD and export, this increasing the quality more

→ 3.) Details:

• Activate “High Quality Upload” by selecting

Settings > Account > Data Usage > High quality upload toggle on

• Upload on a decent WiFi connection

* Select high quality uploads within the IG app

→ 4.) Export settings for Premiere Pro:

> Format H.265

> Resolution: 1080x1920

> Target Bitrate: 13

> Click “Render at maximum quality”

→ Extra Tip:
If you have a zoom lense or 50mm use this with a bokeh with a good light and it will upload to IG with amazing quality due to the detail of the clip, if captured correctly in camera.
