We are committed to providing exceptional service and support. Our company is headquartered in Miami, Florida (USA) where we operate a modern distribution center. base greatly enhances our ability to coordinate shipments from various vendors and, with respect to aircraft sales, enables us to oversee the pre-delivery process to ensure that our customer’s requirements are met. Our product support division is world class. We currently support hundreds of aircraft and helicopters in Africa and are very familiar with the applicable importation and customs regulations, as well as the best methods of shipment to each country.

✈️ A Historic First for African Aviation!

We’re proud to celebrate a major milestone alongside Tassili Travail Aérien (TTA) and Textron Aviation!

TTA, a subsidiary of Sonatrach, has successfully completed factory acceptance of two new Cessna SkyCourier aircraft in Wichita, Kansas, marking the first SkyCourier order in Africa and the first worldwide for an aero-medical-equipped SkyCourier! 🇩🇿

As the Cessna distributor, Africair is honored to be part of this landmark partnership, bringing advanced aviation solutions to Algeria. Designed to support passenger transport, medical evacuation, and special missions, these aircraft will help modernize TTA’s fleet and strengthen support for Algeria’s energy sector.

Congratulations to the entire TTA and Textron Aviation teams on this exciting achievement! We look forward to seeing these aircraft arrive in Algeria and take flight in their important new roles.

Back with another 20 birds from the Mara.

The more time I spent out there, the more I realised how easy it is to overlook the smaller and less obvious species while waiting for the big sightings.

From colourful characters to birds that can disappear into the grass or trees in seconds, every drive seemed to turn up something different.

Here are another 20 from my time in the Mara North Conservancy.

Meet Judy — the only dog officially registered as a Prisoner of War during World War II.

From surviving a shipwreck and helping stranded sailors find fresh water, to enduring captivity, surviving another torpedoed ship, and eventually receiving the PDSA Dickin Medal for bravery, Judy’s story is remarkable from beginning to end.

After the war, Judy’s journey took her to Tanzania, where she spent her final years. She died in Nachingwea in 1950, and her grave is still there today.

So why are we, an African aviation company, telling you about Judy? ✈️

Because Nachingwea is now a destination served by our customer, Auric Air.

Which means you can fly into this small corner of Tanzania and visit the final resting place of a very extraordinary dog. 🐾

From the waters off Sumatra… to a POW camp… to Tanzania… Judy’s story traveled a very long way.
