Did you know the City of Miami adopted its enduring moniker, the Magic City, just one month after its incorporation in 1896? “Miami, the Magic City,” our latest photographic exhibition at Gate D31 Gallery in partnership with Museum of Miami and curated by the museum’s Resident Historian Dr. Paul George, invites passengers to step back in time and explore the many moments that helped shaped our unique city.

Big news for South Florida aviation! ✈️

Today, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Director Ralph Cutié, special guests, and the MIA community officially broke ground on Ocean Aviation FBO, a transformation project at Miami Executive Airport!

This project will encompass:
✈️ $67.2M+ private investment in new infrastructure
✈️ Flagship fixed-fase operator (FBO) with private & communal hangars
✈️ 32,000 sq. ft. taxi lane & ramp dedicated to U.S. Customs and Border Protection for faster international processing
✈️ A new home for the Wings Over Miami Air Museum

Built in partnership with design-build team Lemartec and SchenkelShultz, this project elevates South Florida’s general aviation network.
