Booth is officially set up and ready for Oktoberfest! 🍺

Not gonna lie, getting everything up in this heat had us sweating buckets, but it was worth it. Our spot at Washington Park is all ready to go.

We'll be out at the booth Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, so come say hi, grab some food, catch some music, and enjoy the weekend with us. This is one of our favorites and we can't wait. 💙

Better late than never, but yesterday was Overdose Awareness Day. 💜

We lost my little brother in September of 2021 to a fentanyl overdose. He was only 20. Not a day goes by that we don't think about him, and days like yesterday remind us just how many families are carrying this same kind of loss.

If you're struggling, or you love someone who is, please know you're not alone. There's no shame in reaching out, and the people who love you would rather have you here. 🫂

Oktoberfest is one of our favorite weekends of the year, and it's almost here. 🍺

Michigan City Oktoberfest is back at Washington Park September 4th through the 7th, and you can bet we'll be out there soaking it all up. Great food, dozens of live music acts, local vendors, and that end of summer energy that just can't be beat.

A couple of shows we're especially excited for:

🎶 21 Marlos on Friday the 4th at 5:15pm, Stop Zero Upper Deck

🎶 That Homegrown Halloween Show on Saturday the 5th at 7pm, Oktoberfest Stage

Here's when you can head out:

Friday to Sunday: 12pm to 10pm

Monday: 12pm to 6pm

The New Buffalo beach shuttle is coming back for Labor Day weekend! 🏖️

We'll be out Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 6th, moving between the Oselka Park lot on Detroit, the Amtrak Station, and the boat launch at the beach. No booking, no fare, just look for the PrivaDrive Transit and hop on.😊

Here's when we'll be out there:

Saturday, September 5th
9am - 9pm CST / 10am - 10pm EST

Sunday, September 6th
9am - 9pm CST / 10am - 10pm EST

Come soak up the last big weekend of summer with us. See you at the beach! 💙

We've been a little quiet around here and it's been a week. 🙃

Between the storms rolling through, the cleanup after, and the kids' first day of school getting pushed back to Tuesday, we've just been in survival mode over here. Sometimes life gets loud and something has to give, and this past week it was our posting schedule.

We hope everyone is doing okay, especially those of you still without power. If you're one of the families still waiting for the lights to come back on, we're thinking of you and we know how draining it can be. 💙

But hey, the kids are almost through their first week, so at least we've got that win to celebrate. ☀️

Built on a sturdy mobile base with casters, this piece can be transported and displayed wherever the celebration takes it. From the custom fabrication to the personalized graphics, this one was designed and built from the ground up. 🖤🔒

Lexi found the joy in a rainy day last week, barefoot and dancing without a care in the world. 💃

Today is a different kind of weather, so we're keeping a close eye on the alerts with 100 mph winds, possible tornadoes, and storms rolling through the area. ⛈️

Please stay safe out there today, friends. Charge your phones, bring in anything loose, and keep those weather alerts on. We can dance in the rain another day. 💙

Doing work even when the pool was calling his name. 💙

We got a text on the work phone about someone stranded and needing gas on 94 past exit 40 heading into Michigan, so Jeremy threw on his work shirt over his swim trunks and took a can of gas out to them. He wanted to just swim, but he went out anyway. We try our best to pay it forward and help out whenever we can, even if it means putting a pause on our own fun. 🚐
