Milano Livestock Exchange

Milano Livestock Exchange MLE is a livestock dealership licensed and bonded with USDA Packers and Stockyards.

The ownership of Milano Livestock Exchange will not conduct business in the public domain, but operates as a private, bonded, livestock dealership as it has since its inception in 1986, buying stocker, feeder, and replacement cattle for private customers. Milano Livestock Exchange will keep an inventory of high-quality replacement cattle/bulls available for purchase through private treaty sales, w

ith plans to add online internet auctions, for buying purposes only, in 2018. Please refer to our website for more information and videos of current inventories available, or contact Bracken Marburger, MLE Operations Manager, at 512-455-7631.

Today, we proudly celebrate 40 years of business as Milano Livestock Exchange! What began as a weekly livestock auction on May 6, 1986, and ran successfully for thirty years, selling more than 1.7 million head of cattle, became a different business model in 2016 as we welcomed the next generation, operating solely as a livestock dealership, buying cattle across Texas and the United States.

With hard work and strong relationships at our foundation, we operate as a family business, and truly appreciate our valued customers and cherished friends. We focus on involvement in state and national organizations to stay relevant within the business, keeping current with industry changes and policies.

As our next generation of the Lastovica and Marburger Families continues our business, we look forward to maintaining our legacy and commitment to our customers, and strive for excellence in the livestock industry.

While attending the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, our family had the pleasure of visiting with U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins and hearing her firsthand perspective on the challenges currently facing the cattle industry and agriculture as a whole, which impacts our businesses.

With Steven having served on several agricultural government boards and Bracken currently serving on an internal group for the Livestock Marketing Association focused on the impact of the New World Screwworm—it was especially meaningful for them to visit directly with Secretary Rollins on relevant issues our industry is navigating.

We admire the leadership she brings to agriculture, and are proud to have a fellow Aggie in such an important role! 🇺🇸
