On behalf of the Worcester Police Department (Official) and the National Emergency Child Care Network, Direnzo Towing & Recovery and Direnzo Disposal will be participating in a Toy and Clothing Drive to assist children in the area of Elk Park North Carolina.

Most of these families are completely without, sadly living out of tents, carports and shelters. In hopes of assisting the over 900 children that have lost everything, we will be assisting with donations and making comfort kits for the children as well as hopefully providing Christmas gifts.

We will be accepting donations at our main office located at 139 Worcester Providence Turnpike Millbury, MA until December 2, 2024.

When the tow industry unites, remarkable achievements are made possible. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Aspesi family at Ted’s for their generous donation of a truck, driver, and fuel. We also appreciate the support of local companies that purchased pallets and the community members who contributed to this effort.

We lost one of our own this past week, a dear member of the Direnzo Towing family for over two decades. Mario, who wore many hats as a heavy operator, tri-axle driver, and dispatcher, was laid to rest yesterday. His contributions went beyond that of an ordinary employee, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered fondly by all those whose lives he touched. Pave the heavens Mario. You are loved and missed beyond words.

Dispatcher position description:

Scheduling and dispatching drivers, vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations, handling customer requests, answering calls from police/state police and dispatching drivers promptly and adequately

Relaying messages

Using telephones, two-way radios or text messages to contact drivers

Organization, Good customer service, computer skills, email, basic math, multitasking in a high paced enviroment is a must.

Shifts: 5:00am-1pm and 11pm-7am
