Today, BoatUS proudly joins the nation in wishing the United States Coast Guard a happy 236th birthday!

For more than two centuries, the Coast Guard has safeguarded our nation’s waterways through search and rescue, maritime law enforcement, environmental protection, and countless other missions that keep recreational boaters and all who enjoy our waters safe.

At BoatUS, we share a commitment to promoting safe, responsible boating and ensuring America’s waterways remain accessible for everyone. We are grateful for the Coast Guard’s unwavering service and for the partnership they maintain with the recreational boating community.

Thank you to the active-duty members, reservists, civilians, auxiliarists, and veterans who have answered the call to serve.
