More importantly, every dollar goes toward something meaningful. Proceeds support pediatric pulmonary hypertension research through the Pediatric Pulmonary Hypertension Network, helping fund critical research, support children and families, and provide education for the healthcare providers who care for them.
We’ve also established the Hazel Grace Nelson Pulmonary Hypertension Patient Fund with Children’s Nebraska. This fund helps ease the financial burden for families while their child is undergoing treatment and care.

Please share! Rocking N Feeders, LLC is hiring a Feedyard Assistant in Oakland, IA.

We are in search of a full time hired hand to assist in everyday operations of Rocking N Feeders. A preferred candidate will have experience in feeding and caring for cattle and machinery experience. Candidate responsibilities will be but not limited to:

☑️ Cattle feeding
☑️ Caring for cows, cow/calf pairs and assisting with calving
☑️ Receive, assessing, and processing cattle
☑️ Sorting and shipping cattle
☑️ General cattle health management
☑️ Tagging calves during calving seasons
☑️ Fence making
☑️ Hay making
☑️ Manure spreading
☑️ General feedyard maintenance
☑️ General equipment maintenance
☑️ Feeding of horses when asked (not a daily duty)
☑️ Feeding of dogs when asked (not a daily duty)

Qualifications
☑️ Would prefer 2 years experience in a cow/calf or feedyard setting, would consider training the right person.
☑️ Leadership skills a must
☑️ Good decision making skills
☑️ Valid drivers license
☑️ Must pass a drug test
☑️ Independent thinker
☑️ Self starter, able to work efficiently alone or as a team
☑️ Organized and cleanly
☑️ Good communication skills
☑️ Honesty and integrity

General hours will be 7 am to 4pm. Some nights will be required during busy seasons. Weekend work will be required, especially during owners kids high school rodeo seasons. Pay depends on qualifications. Call Brandon Nelson at 402.253.5564.

Please note: This job does not require pen riding. If you are looking for a job on horseback, this is not the job for you. The majority of our cattle are in our new confinement barn. Would possibly allow applicant to keep 2 horses at our feedyard, but applicant would be responsible for feed.
