August at Atwood Lake is usually when we’re talking about sunshine, dry docks and soaking up the last stretch of summer. Record rainfall wasn’t exactly on the agenda. 🌧️
Atwood Lake is currently sitting about 2.5 feet above normal summer levels, and our team is actively monitoring conditions around the lake as Mother Nature continues to keep us on our toes.
A huge THANK YOU to our Dock Crew, who have been working diligently around the lake to adjust, adapt, and stay ahead of the rising water. Their hard work behind the scenes makes a big difference.
And just as importantly, thank you to our entire Atwood Lake Boats crew. No matter what gets thrown their way, this team adapts, pitches in, and keeps finding ways to make Atwood Lake the escape we all love even when Mother Nature isn’t exactly on board with the plan. 💙⚓
The good news? We’re open as usual and ready to help you enjoy the lake! The water may be high but so are our spirits. We’ll keep monitoring, adjusting, and doing what we do best while the water works its way back down.
In the meantime, if anyone has Mother Nature’s TikTok, Snapchat, or general contact info, send it our way. We’d just like to have a quick chat about what “August” is supposed to mean. ☀️
