A new month means new ways to enjoy the Chichaqua Valley Trail!
Warm days are still hanging around, the trail foliage hasn’t even begun to change, and there’s plenty of riding season left to enjoy.
🚲 September 1 is here, but riding season isn't over yet. Get outside, explore somewhere new, and make the most of another beautiful month of cycling!
Here are 5️⃣ ways to enjoy the CVT this September:
☀️ Chase the last days of summer. Sneak in an after-work ride or spend a sunny weekend afternoon on the trail while we’ve still got plenty of daylight.
🥤 Make a pit stop at Station Street. Roll into Mingo, park your bike for a bit, grab a cold drink or snack, browse the shop, play a game, and recharge before getting back on the trail.
🎨 Discover the murals in Mingo. Slow down and explore the public art around town - including the murals right here at Station Street. Don't forget to snap a photo & share while you're here!
🚲 Schedule a buddy ride to Baxter. Grab a friend and turn your ride into an adventure. Ride from Mingo to Baxter, explore a little, grab a bite, and cruise back together.
🦋 Slow down & look for wildlife. Not every ride needs to be about speed or miles. Keep an eye out for birds, butterflies, changing prairie plants, and all the little signs that fall is on its way.
