Last weekend I ran the nakaziro prototype for the second time but the first time with a carbon trailing arm flex link. Long story short, it was way too rigid and my truck was a wild bucking bronco. I’ve updated the design and will be testing it for the next few races. Here are some sexy chassis pics! 🔥🥷

Sneak preview: Shogun transmission for the Nakaziro. Billet aluminum heatsink bulkhead transmission plate and carbon fiber backer plates. Uses the big T 272R drag internals. Fits 76t 48p spur or 50t or 52t 32p spur. This is my test build to see if 54t 32p fits and it does if you shave a little off the extreme hd center drive shaft. Carbon fiber radio tray mounts to transmission so the entire assembly can be pulled out of the chassis. 2 size trays will be available. This is the small 3d print prototype tray. This piece is nearly ready. Only 1 small change to make.

Team PRP Nakaziro 1/10 pro mod monster truck kit.

Chassis with custom transmission case. Will be available with or without BAR axles. I’ll be testing new flex plate designs as the ones shown are too rigid but the kit can also be built with traditional 4-links and sway bars as well. I’ve got a few more details on the shop with complete info coming as soon as I can get it all set. I’ve got a lot on my plate so it’ll take a bit.

Overall Erik and I did pretty well! Nearly grabbed the top spots in pro mod but Nick took out Erik in the finals and I jumped the finish line beam in the semi vs Nick so I finished 3rd. Ultra mod I TQ’d and won with my USA-1 FCR Sport. Friday night I won the buy-in money race too! All of our trucks run full Team Tekin Racing esc+battery+motor power package! And it’s really great receiving an award for all the design work I put into the new Nakaziro truck! I’ve got work to do on that flex plate design as it’s currently far too rigid and kicks the chassis around on off camber turns and jumps. You can also build the Nakaziro with traditional 4-links and sway bars but I’m going to be testing flex variations asap to see if I can dial that in. Thanks to the NRCTPA for hosting a fun event, the volunteers for running a tight ship, especially Emily, Sabrina and the Mosher boys! and next year’s event has the potential to be even bigger and better! Looking forward to worlds 2027!
