How the now Midtown Greenway appeared in the early 70s. We've come a long way, Minneapolis.

"I took this photograph of what is now the Greenway in South Minneapolis, in 1970 or 1971. I used a 400mm telephoto lens, which has the effect of 'compressing' the distance between the bridges, which are a full city block apart. You can read the names of the first few streets, on the bridges."
