Happy Wednesday! 🐴🌾
Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at how the herd stretches their legs on a rainy morning out at the farm! Everyone is full of energy today—including missing miss Cassidy, who is taking it easy as we keep a close watch on her countdown to foaling day. 🍼❤️
We’ll be keeping you updated on Cassidy’s journey right here, so be sure to Like, Follow, and Share to follow along with the herd and meet the new addition soon!

Cassidy is officially keeping us waiting! 🐴🍼
She’s had us on high alert for two weeks now, but she’s taking her sweet time. Classic broodmare move!
Drop your best guess in the comments—are we looking at this weekend, or is she holding out even longer? 👇

People always ask if we actually ride our horses! The answer is a big YES.
Although Houdini excels at 6 AM pasture stampedes, he’s a total rockstar under saddle too—from peaceful forest trails to dynamic celebrations in downtown Minneapolis. 🐴✨
Which ride is more your style: quiet woods or city streets?

There's a lot of conversation out there about working horses, so we wanted to share an unedited look at what life actually looks like behind the scenes when no one is watching. 🌾🐴
Filmed from 150 yards away with a zoom lens, these guys had no idea anyone was even there—just pure, natural herd life! Our horses spend the vast majority of their time out in wide open green pastures doing what draft horses love to do: running, grazing, playing, and being a herd.

Part 3 of 3: How tall are our draft horses? 🐴🌾
Now that we have their weight estimates dialed in, it’s time to measure their height! In the horse world, height isn't measured in feet or inches—it’s measured in "hands" (where 1 hand equals 4 inches).
Watch as we pull out our official measuring stick to check the top of the withers for Miller (1-year-old), Luna (2-year-old), Lucy (1-year-old), and Hershey (our 20-year-old veteran)! 📐✨
That wraps up our 3-part series on preparing our herd for routine care. Thanks for joining us behind the scenes at the barn!
Were you surprised by how tall Hershey is compared to the young ones? Drop your comments below! 👇

Part 2 of 3: How do you actually weigh a horse? 🐴🌾
Yesterday we guessed their sizes—today we pull out the tape! Since standard bathroom scales don't quite cut it for a 1,400 lb draft horse, we use a special equine weight tape wrapped right around the heart girth. 📏✨
Watch as we measure our crew—from 1-year-olds Miller and Lucy, to 2-year-old Luna, and our 20-year-old veteran Hershey—to see how close our initial guesses were!
Tune in tomorrow for Part 3 to see how we measure their height in hands using our official measuring stick!
Did any of their actual weight tape numbers surprise you? Let us know in the comments! 👇

Part 1 of 3: Building a Healthy Horse from Day One! 🐴🌾
Did you know that a healthy horse starts with solid care as a youngster and carries all the way through their senior years?
Welcome to Part 1 of our mini-series! We're checking in on the whole crew—from our 1-year-olds (Miller and Lucy) and 2-year-old (Luna), all the way to our 20-year-old veteran, Hershey. Before routine health checks, we always start by estimating their size and weight. 📐✨
Tune in tomorrow for Part 2 to see the special tape we use to measure a horse without a scale!
Can you guess how much heavier 20-year-old Hershey is compared to 1-year-old Miller? Drop your guesses below! 👇

What an amazing night for a carriage ride! ✨
Starting out from our stables in the North Loop neighborhood, this clip captures just two of the many beautiful highlights on our 90-minute tour: rolling past Boom Island Park and taking in the charm of Nicollet Island with its historic brick roads, glowing street lamps, and the downtown skyline in the distance. 🌆
After all these years of driving, it simply never gets old. But when you get the right combination of spectacular weather, our handsome pair—Spike and Rip—doing what they do best, and our wonderful guests, it feels like seeing just how special this place is for the very first time.
We are truly blessed. Thank you all for watching and riding along with us! ❤️
