As Chair of the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Commissioner Yvette Colbourne was honored to join Executive Director Greg Stuart in accepting the National Association of Regional Councils (NARC) Achievement Award recognizing the Broward Safety Action Plan.

This national recognition highlights the collaborative work of the Broward MPO and municipalities across Broward County to improve transportation safety and create safer roads for all who live, work, and travel in our communities.

The Broward Safety Action Plan reflects our shared commitment to reducing traffic fatalities and serious injuries while enhancing safety for motorists, pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users.

Congratulations to the Broward MPO team and the municipal partners on this outstanding achievement and for their continued dedication to making Broward County safer and more connected.
