Employee Spotlight: Lyle Turville 🚛

Meet Lyle Turville, one of our Drivers, who has been with LineHaul for a year—but brings an incredible 48 years of professional driving experience with him!

A Career Behind the Wheel:
Lyle’s driving career is pretty remarkable. Over nearly five decades, he has driven close to 6 million miles, with more than 5 million safe miles! He was named Grand Champion at the 2024 Montana Truck Driving Championships, where he also took 1st Place in Sleeper Berth. He previously won 1st Place in 5-Axle in 2019 and was named Rookie of the Year in 2017. Lyle also represented Montana at the National Truck Driving Championships in Indianapolis, finishing 14th in the nation in his division. That’s one heck of a résumé!

Family First:
Outside of work, Lyle enjoys spending time with his grandkids and family—whatever they’re doing, he’s happy to be along for it.

The Perfect Weekend:
Sitting in the mountains, fishing, and relaxing. According to Lyle, he doesn’t get to do it nearly enough!

Montana Roots:
Born and raised in Great Falls, Montana, Lyle enjoys camping, fishing, and motorcycle riding. One memorable motorcycle trip to Missoula even included an unexpected two inches of snow!

Comfort Food:
A good steak gets the job done.

Dinner With History:
Lyle would sit down with Teddy Roosevelt—someone he thinks would be pretty interesting to talk with.

Fun Fact:
Lyle served in the military stateside and was trained as a door gunner in a Huey during the Gulf War era, though he was never deployed overseas.

Advice to His Younger Self:
“Save your money and don’t spend it all.”

With 48 years behind the wheel, close to 6 million total miles, more than 5 million safe miles, and championship-level driving skills, we’re proud to have Lyle behind the wheel for LineHaul. 🚛🏆

🚛 Celebrating the Drivers Who Keep America Moving! 🇺🇸
It’s National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, and once again LineHaul Logistics is proud to support the men and women behind the wheel who make our industry—and our country—move.
Each year, LineHaul partners with the Montana Motor Carriers Association by donating both funds and our time to help show our appreciation for professional truck drivers. This week, we’ll be out at the Billings, Conrad, and Haugen scales handing out food and saying thank you to the drivers passing through.
Truck drivers spend long days and nights away from their families, navigating weather, traffic, construction, and tight schedules to make sure the things we all depend on get where they need to go. It’s a job that deserves recognition every week of the year.
To all the professional drivers out there: thank you for the miles, the sacrifices, and for keeping America moving. We appreciate you! 🚛👏

🦌 Looks like the neighbors stopped by for a visit!
We had a pretty good crowd hanging out in LineHaul’s backyard — a group of whitetail bucks along with a few fawns enjoying a little Montana summer afternoon.
The bucks are looking good, the fawns are growing fast, and apparently our backyard has become one of the more popular gathering spots in the neighborhood. 😄
One of the perks of working in Montana: you never know what might wander past the office windows.
Freight out front, wildlife out back. Just another day at LineHaul! 🚛🦌🌲

☀️🧢 The LineHaul hat is soaking up the last little bit of summer!
This time, the hat traded highways and loading docks for some time at the lake — because even the hardest-working hat deserves a little R&R. 🌊
With summer starting to wind down, we’re taking advantage of every last warm day, calm evening, and Montana sunset we can get.
The freight will keep moving, fall will be here before we know it, but for now… the hat is staying right where it is. 😎🚤
Here’s to squeezing every last drop out of summer!

Employee Spotlight: Art Clubb 🎉
This week we’re shining the spotlight on Art Clubb—and celebrating his birthday!
Art has been driving for LineHaul for the past year, but his connection to us goes back much further. In one way or another, Art has been part of the LineHaul family for 26 years!
The Perfect Weekend:
Sleeping in, relaxing, and catching up with friends.
Where It All Began:
Art was born in Sacramento, CA, and grew up in Marysville and Everett, WA.
A Trip He’ll Never Forget:
While home on military leave, Art and his dad spent two weeks fishing in Canada—still one of his favorite memories.
On the Bucket List:
Learning to play chess.
A Movie That Never Gets Old:
Field of Dreams—his all-time favorite.
Comfort Food:
Pizza! Hawaiian takes the top spot, with Detroit-style deep dish a close second. For something sweet, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are hard to beat.
Dinner With History:
Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, or Roger Staubach.
Hobbies & Interests:
Watching baseball and football.
Fun Fact:
Art was a standout athlete growing up until a knee injury at 16 changed the course of his athletic career.
Advice to His Younger Self:
“Pay more attention to every word my father said. He was one hell of a man.”
We’re grateful for Art and the 26 years he’s been part of the LineHaul family and our story.
🎂 Happy Birthday, Art! And if you see L501 out on the road this week, be sure to give him a wave and wish him a Happy Birthday! 🚛🎉

🤠 The LineHaul hat traded the highway for the rodeo arena! 🧢🐎
This time, the hat made its way to the rodeo at the Western Montana Fair right here in Missoula.
Bucking broncs, bulls, cowboys, a packed grandstand, and a beautiful Montana summer evening—it’s tough to beat a night at the rodeo. There may not have been any freight to move, but there was still plenty of horsepower on display! 🐎💨
We love seeing the LineHaul hat make its way around Montana and beyond, especially when it gets to take in traditions like this one.
From horsepower to truck power, we’re always ready for the next ride. 🤠🚛

⚾ Six Years of LineHaul Baseball Nights! 🌭🍻
We kept one of our favorite summer traditions going this week with our 6th Annual LineHaul Baseball Night at the ballpark!
The LineHaul crew came out for another great night of Missoula PaddleHeads baseball, good food, cold drinks, and plenty of laughs. It’s hard to beat a Montana summer evening at the ballpark with the people you spend your days working alongside.
Six years in, this has become a tradition we look forward to every summer. Thanks to everyone who came out and made this year another great one!
Here’s to good baseball, a great team, and keeping the tradition going! ⚾🚛

🎉 Happy Belated Birthday, Darwin! 🎉
We celebrated Darwin's birthday this past Sunday, and we couldn't think of a better photo to share than one with his grandfather's 1972 Ford F-100—a truck that's been in his family since it rolled off the lot.
If you've been around LineHaul for long, you know Darwin as "Get 'er Done Darwin." Whether he's finding capacity, solving a tough transportation challenge, or sharing decades of trucking knowledge, he's always willing to jump in and help.
Outside the office, you'll often find him restoring this classic Ford, smoking a brisket, cheering on the GRIZ, or spending time with family. It's no surprise that one of his favorite projects is bringing a piece of family history back to life.
Darwin, we hope you had a fantastic birthday and enjoyed celebrating with the people who matter most. Thanks for everything you do for the LineHaul team—we're lucky to have you.
Happy Birthday, Darwin! 🎂🚛🎉

🏔️🥾 The LineHaul hat took the scenic route this weekend. 🧢
Not every journey involves 18 wheels.
This time, the hat traded highways for hiking boots and made the trek to Heart Lake in the Montana backcountry. Wildflowers, crystal-clear water, towering pines, and a campfire at the end of the day—it's hard to beat summer in Big Sky Country.
After a week of keeping freight moving across North America, sometimes the best destination is one without cell service, traffic, or a schedule.
Wherever your adventure takes you this summer, we hope you get a chance to unplug, recharge, and enjoy the outdoors.
The LineHaul hat will be ready for the next adventure. 🌲🏕️🔥

🎶 The LineHaul hat found its way to one of Montana's best summer venues! 🧢🎸
This time, the hat was spotted soaking up a great evening at the KettleHouse Amphitheater, with the beautiful Blackfoot Valley providing the perfect backdrop.
Around here, we know the best way to recharge after a busy week of moving freight is to spend some time outdoors, enjoy good music, and appreciate everything Montana has to offer.
From highways and loading docks to concerts under the big sky, the LineHaul hat is always up for the next adventure.
Where do you think it'll show up next? 👀🚛
