✈️❤️ **GET TO KNOW THE GIRL BEHIND TRAVEL WITH CARLA JEAN** ❤️✈️
If we haven’t met yet — **Hi, I’m Carla!** 👋
I’m a travel advisor, a mom of **four**, a very proud **Grandma of four**, and someone who truly believes some of the best things we can give our families are **experiences, adventures and memories together.**
And when I really think about it, **travel and planning have been part of my life for a LONG time.**
❤️ **First came family.**
When my four kids were growing up, competitive soccer was a HUGE part of our lives. ⚽
We traveled all over for games and tournaments, often surrounded by friends and family. And while I'm sure there were plenty of wins, losses and crazy soccer weekends, those aren't necessarily the things I remember most.
I remember...
🚗 Loading everyone up and hitting the road.
🏨 Hotels filled with teammates and families.
🍽️ Team dinners.
😂 Late-night laughs with friends.
🌎 Exploring places we may have never visited otherwise.
❤️ Watching our kids grow up together while we were making memories right alongside them.
At the time, we were just busy parents getting our kids to another tournament.
Looking back now, **we were creating some of the best memories of our lives.**
📋 **Then there was my career.**
For more than **10 years, I worked as a corporate event planner**, coordinating events, booking hotels, arranging travel and managing all of those little details that have to come together to make an experience successful.
Turns out... **planning is just in my nature.** 😂
I genuinely LOVE taking a million moving pieces and figuring out how to make them all work.
So becoming a travel advisor feels like such a natural extension of things I've loved doing for years — **planning, traveling, helping people and creating experiences.** ✈️
And now I'm in another chapter that I absolutely love...
👵❤️ **Being Grandma to FOUR amazing grandbabies.**
I find myself thinking about all of the memories I want to create with them.
I want them to remember family vacations, seeing new places, trying new things, laughing together and having adventures with Grandma.
Because one thing I've learned as my kids have grown up is that **the years go incredibly fast.**
Someday, the toys are gone, the soccer cleats are put away and the kids are grown...
**but the memories stay.** ❤️
And THAT is a huge part of why I love what I do today.
When someone comes to me to plan a trip, I don't just see a hotel reservation, cruise cabin or airline ticket.
I see...
💍 The honeymoon you'll still talk about 20 years from now.
🌊 Your child's first time seeing the ocean.
🚢 The grandparents taking the whole family on a cruise.
🥂 The anniversary you've been waiting to celebrate.
😂 The friends' getaway where you laugh until your cheeks hurt.
✨ The trip your kids will someday say, **“Remember when we…?”**
**Those are the trips I want to help you plan.**
Yes, I love researching destinations.
Yes, I love finding the perfect resort or cruise.
And YES...I actually enjoy all those little planning details that drive some people crazy. 😂
But more than anything...
