To the man that started this journey! Happy Heavenly Birthday! Today you would have been 86 years young and still working I'm sure. He taught me a lot and I got to teach him a little in the age of the computer. Thankful I had the 12 years of knowledge working with you and granny everyday. He taught me more than just how to work on boats. He taught me life lessons and how to be a jack of all trades and master of none. She taught me how to do the paperwork side of a business. First start on the 2008 200 HPDI rebuild. A few turns of the throttle valve opening screw was all it took after priming oil, bleeding air from new oil pump, running premix oil/fuel tank, checking fuel pressure (mid) and verifying fuel pressure (high) 950 psi after getting it running.

Took on a rebuild for a 2008 Yamaha 200 Hp HPDI a few months ago. This one ate #2 piston rings due to carbon build up on the piston. Prime example of why you should always run Yamaha Ring Free Plus in your 2 stroke engines no matter the brand. Went .020" over on all 6 pistons with wisecos machined aluminum pistons fitting the bill. Gotta give Josh Tennis at GPM Race Engines props for doing the machining and getting me the pistons. We assemble them in house but I couldn't do it without a good machine shop to fix the block up! Had to go deep into this one as the swivel bracket bushings were wore completely out and the gearcase was leaking oil. Pretty much a full rebuild top to bottom. Video following this post with the 1st start up!

A buddy let me borrow his boat for the weekend so I could fish a tournament on Table Rock....nah hahaha could you imagine just fishing this thing hard all weekend. No one would be fishing on top of you at least hahaha. Just in for some routine maintenance.
