In honor of our founder, Arnold Benedict, a custom shipping container was created to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s. 💜

We’ll be participating in two local Walk to End Alzheimer’s events. Make sure to stop by the purple container and enjoy some refreshments.

📍 Cincinnati Tri-State Walk
October 3 | Sawyer Point
📍 Butler & Warren Counties Walk
October 10 | Corwin Nixon Park in Mason

We’re honored to support these events and a cause that means so much to our team and community.

Holiday Storage Tip #3

Choose the location of your container before delivery day.

Think about how your team will access the container, which direction the doors should face, and whether there's enough room for delivery and placement. A little planning now can make day-to-day operations much easier.

Check permit requirements before delivery.

Depending on where your container will be placed, your municipality, property owner, or business park may require permits or prior approval. Taking a few minutes to check ahead can help avoid delays.

Meet Mark Stowers

Ten years ago, Mark started his career at BEI behind the wheel, hauling liquid lime as a tanker driver and later scrap metal.

After years on the road, Mark was ready for a change but wasn’t quite ready to give up driving altogether. With previous experience running a shop and managing parts, he found an opportunity to put that experience to work at BEI. Mark now serves as Trailer Supervisor, overseeing parts and inventory, helping customers, solving problems, and still getting behind the wheel when needed.

One thing people might be surprised to learn about his job?

“The effort it takes to stay calm, collected, understanding, and mindful of everyday situations.”

His transition from driver to supervisor is a great example of the experience within our team and the opportunities to grow at BEI.

And after 10 years, the advice he shares is simple: “We are all human and make mistakes, but what we learn from them is what makes the difference.”

Thank you, Mark, for 10 years of hard work and dedication to BEI!

Meet Jack Staples

Jack’s history with BEI started long before his first sales call. At only 10 years old, he was already pitching in, w**d whacking around the lake. Over the years, he’s taken on different roles across the business, and in his newest one, he is supporting BEI’s continued growth throughout Southwest Ohio and Kentucky. He’ll focus on building relationships and supporting customers with their on-site storage, office, and trailer needs.

Growing up around the business meant growing up around the people, culture, and values behind BEI. In his words, “The BEI culture and values have shaped me into the person and professional I am today.”

And there's one lesson he’s carrying with him into this new role: “Always deliver on your word.” It’s a simple piece of advice that says a lot about how we do business at BEI.
