One little thing I ALWAYS recommend packing for an all-inclusive vacation… a reusable water bottle! 🌴✈️

My main reason for recommending this is because you can fill it with a larger drink and avoid making 15 trips back for refills 🤣

Whether it’s water, soda, or your favorite vacation drink, having a larger insulated bottle means you can grab your drink and head back to your pool chair instead of constantly getting up for refills.

✈️ “Aren’t you worried AI is going to replace travel advisors?”

A friend asked me this question this past week…

And I proudly said NOPE! 🙌🏼

Here’s why…

AI can tell you what resorts are in Antigua.
It can pull up room categories.
It can show you reviews, photos, amenities and all the things you can find on the internet.

But AI can’t tell you what a resort FEELS like.

It can’t tell you the vibe.
It can’t tell you what type of clients the resort attracts.
It can’t explain the resort dynamics.
It can’t tell you if the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing or if it turns into a party every afternoon.
And it definitely can’t tell you if that gorgeous turquoise ocean you’ve been staring at online is actually that blue in person. 😂🌊

And yes… that last one is a BIG one.

Prime example…

Several weeks ago, we were traveling and decided to check out a property that the internet described as an adult-only, luxury, relaxing, all-inclusive resort.

Wellllll… 👀

When we arrived, we were pretty surprised to see guests twerking on the tables around the pool. 😂

And before anyone thinks it was just one random group…

NOPE.

This happened repeatedly over several days. 🤣

Now, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting that kind of vacation! If that’s your vibe, I can find you that resort! 🙌🏼🍹💃🏼

But if you’re booking a romantic anniversary trip and expecting peaceful, upscale relaxation… that information matters.

This is exactly why we travel.

When we visit resorts, we aren’t just looking at the room.

We’re looking at the food.
The service.
The beach.
The pools.
The entertainment.
The atmosphere.
The clientele.
The little details you simply cannot understand from a website.

Most importantly, we’re asking ourselves:

“What type of client would LOVE this resort?”

Because the “best resort” doesn’t exist.

The best resort is the right resort for YOU. ❤️

Can AI help you find options? Absolutely.

But AI hasn’t sat at the pool, eaten the food, talked to the staff, walked the beach, experienced the entertainment, watched how the resort operates and then matched that experience to an actual client.

That’s where we come in. ✈️🌴

And honestly, I think we’re going to see more and more people use AI to book vacations themselves… and I also think some of those people are going to arrive at their destination and realize:

“This is NOT what I thought I was booking.” 😬

If we know the food at a resort is just okay, we’re going to tell you.
If the service has been inconsistent, you’re going to hear about it.
If there’s construction, a long walk to the beach, limited nightlife, or something else that could affect your experience, we’re not going to sugarcoat it.

If your dates are flexible, we’re going to tell you which dates could save you money instead of just booking the first dates you give us. 💰

If you don’t typically book Diamond Club, Preferred Club, Privilege, Butler Service, or any of those upgraded room categories, we’re going to explain exactly what you will and won’t have access to before you book. 🏝️

And if we think there’s another resort that would fit you better?
We’re going to tell you that, too. 👏🏼

Because our job isn’t just to get you booked.
Our job is to help you book the RIGHT vacation.

We want you to know what you’re paying for, what to expect when you arrive, and where your money is best spent.

Will we always tell you what you want to hear? Probably not. 😂
