As severe weather approaches Alabama, ALTRANS extends our thoughts and prayers to our transit family and extended communities across the state. 💙

We especially want to recognize those in South Alabama and along the Gulf Coast who may experience the greatest impacts from the storm. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you prepare for the days ahead.

Stay safe and take care of one another.

🎉 HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY, ALTRANS! 🚌

What is ALTRANS?

ALTRANS is Alabama Transit.

But who is Alabama Transit?

It’s YOU.

It’s the dedicated men and women serving communities across our great state.

It’s the driver behind the wheel. The dispatcher on the radio. The mechanic keeping vehicles moving. The staff behind the scenes. The directors leading the way.

Different systems. Different communities. Different roads.

But ONE Alabama Transit family.

Every day, ALTRANS connects Alabamians to what matters—jobs, healthcare, education, family, opportunity, and one another.

Together, we keep Alabama moving.

To everyone who carries this mission forward, thank you for serving. ❤️💙

As we celebrate 7 years, we want to hear from our ALTRANS family! Share your favorite ALTRANS memories, photos, stories, or the reasons you love being part of ALTRANS in the comments.

Happy Birthday, ALTRANS!

ONE STATE. ONE MISSION. ONE TRANSIT FAMILY.
