With cooler temps outside its time to starting thinking about the winter. We also have questions about the policy.
Here is a copy of Jets policy:
Jets will go according to the Jones County School Districts. If the school districts have a late start, early out or cancelation Jets will also do the same. It will be on Kcrg 9, Kgan 2 and Kwwl 7, also on the page. Jets no longer notifies each individual person of these weather-related problems.

Last night Jets employees all took part in CPR and AED training. It was a great night of learning how to keep riders and community members safe. We held our training in the new Jones County Public Safety Facility.

On a recent day, the smell of sweet and sour sauce wafted through the basement under Saint Matthew Lutheran Church in Monticello.

Just a heads up they will be testing the outdoor warning system today at 10:00 am throughout Jones County.

Jones County will be testing their sirens on Wednesday March 25, 2026, at 10am in conjunction with the Statewide Tornado Drill.
