The backpacks are ready, the alarms are set, and summer break is officially coming to an end.

While I'll miss the slower mornings and sunshine-filled days, there's something exciting about a fresh start and a new school year.

One of the biggest travel myths is that waiting until the last minute always gets you the best deal.

Here's what I recommend:

🚢 Cruises: Book 6–12 months in advance for the best cabin selection and pricing.
🏖️ All-inclusive resorts: Book 3–6 months ahead for the best resort choices and value.
🎄 Holiday travel: The earlier, the better! Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, and summer vacations fill up quickly.
Planning ahead usually gives you more choices, better availability, and often better pricing.
