We Love Our Furry Friends — But Let’s Talk About Cat Litter 🐱
We want to share something important for the safety of our drivers and your household.
Used cat litter is extremely heavy. A single small trash bag filled with litter can weigh 20–40 pounds. When that bag is tossed into the truck (often lifted and thrown about 4 feet up into the compactor), the weight and shifting contents can cause strain injuries.
But weight isn’t the only concern.
Cat litter dust can contain bacteria and parasites such as toxoplasmosis, along with ammonia from urine. When bags break or aren’t sealed properly, that dust becomes airborne. Repeated exposure over time can affect respiratory health.
Here’s how you can help:
• Double-bag used litter securely
• Tie bags tightly with no air gaps
• Use smaller bags instead of one large heavy bag
• Consider spreading litter disposal over multiple pickups if needed
• Never place loose litter directly into household trash
We appreciate every one of you. Small changes make a big difference in protecting the health of the men who work hard every day to keep our mountains clean.
Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe. 💛

Weekend rain has significantly softened the ground, and some areas are now unstable enough that trucks are getting stuck even on flat surfaces. If our arrival time differs from the text notification you received, please know it’s likely due to crews working to safely free a truck and continue service.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these conditions and work to serve everyone safely.

The snow melted. Then the rain came. Now the earth is soft and unstable, and our trucks are still sinking in several areas.
We are doing everything we can to reach every stop safely, but conditions are slowing us down and making some roads difficult to access.
Please have patience with us while we protect our drivers, your property, and our equipment. We will get to you as soon as it is safe to do so.
Thank you for your understanding and support. 🤎

❄️ Winter Weather Service Update ❄️
Due to ongoing snow and ice conditions, our team will operate routes in the safest and most efficient order possible. Your safety, our drivers’ safety, and road conditions come first — always.
You may also hear loud ground “booms” during this freeze. These are called cryoseisms (frost quakes) — caused when deeply frozen ground rapidly contracts and cracks under pressure. Nature shifting its bones beneath the mountains.
Well… the Bear is awake 🐻❄️
Bundled up, chains ready, engines warm — we’re moving carefully and doing everything possible to serve you through this storm.
Thank you for your patience, trust, and support during extreme winter conditions. We will keep rolling — steady, safe, and strong.
